AirspaceX, a new company set up by design house Detroit Aircraft, is developing a tailsitting electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing (eVTOL) aircraft that can carry modular payloads, including a four-seat passenger cabin for air taxi operations. The MOBi concept was unveiled at the Uber Elevate Summit in Dallas on April 25-27, where AirspaceX displayed a quarter-scale model that it plans to flight test.
